ABOUT
Jack Pine Health
Much like British Columbia's lush nature and the timeless strength of towering pine trees, our method is all about embracing a moment of pause, replenishment, and genuine connection. Inspired by the natural, slow rhythm of the forest and the feeling of cozying up on a rainy day, we give ourselves permission to step away from the chaos of daily life and into a space of tranquility. At Jack Pine Health, we strive to navigate our journey with a sense of "meeting ourselves where we're at" — and we invite you to do the same.

In our practice, you come first.
Our therapists focus on your well-being, making sure your counselling is all about you—your thoughts, feelings, and challenges. We adjust our approach to fit your needs, giving you personalized guidance and support every step of the way.
01.
Counselling offers a valuable opportunity to discuss your thoughts, experiences (past, present, future), trauma, and growth objectives, and to acquire coping skills for everyday life. We offer a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where you can freely explore topics such as anxiety, stress, life changes, grief, depression, ADHD, sexuality, and more. Counselling happens virtually, in-person (Walk and Talk) or over the phone.
02.
Our therapists facilitate open and non-judgmental communication, offering the support of an neutral third party. With a focus on collaboration and viewing the relationship as the primary focus, we assist you in navigating difficulties such as communication, infidelity, and fostering growth together through our specialized couples therapy options.
03.
Our EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapists, equipped with specialized training in addressing trauma from research-proven ways, offer extended and intensive sessions tailored to you. EMDR is also beneficial for enhancing overall well-being, anxiety reduction, mood improvement, confidence and self-esteem increases, and addressing specific incidents like car accidents, assaults, or profound losses.
